POSTAGE: The website uses an Australia Post app to calculate postage rates for your parcel, based on the total weight, and your postcode. If you do not give a post code, the postage price will not show on the screen. Postage rates are controlled by Australia Post.
There are multiple options available:
Local Pick-Up (Perth Area Only)
Regular Parcel Post
and the extra option for Registered Post (Signature Required on Delivery)
Parcels completed are sent from Perth WA, Postal Zone W1 – via regular PARCEL POST, this is road freight, not express or air mail.
I do not make money from postage – the amount you pay when placing your order, quickly goes back to the post office when I lodge your parcel.
I will always refund any excess postage you have paid.
I do not charge you for packaging, invoices, tape or labels, or to drive your parcel to the post office to lodge it personally – I do this for free.
YOUR SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS: Your instructions may/may not be followed by Australia Post delivery people.
I can write LEAVE AT DOOR, DO NOT DELIVER IF NOT AT HOME – Australia Post may choose to disregard them. They decide if the parcel will or will not actually be taken to your address, or if a card shall be left for you to let you know where to go and pick it up instead. This is for safety of the parcel against theft by others.
SIGNING FOR PARCELS: If you really want to be sure,buy a SIGNATURE ON DELIVERY service for $2.95 with your order. It’s additional to the postage, but means the postman will not leave the goods without a signature.
TRACKING YOUR PARCEL: You will be emailed with an Australia Post tracking number once your parcel has been lodged. You can then track the delivery progress via the Australia Post website.
TAX INVOICE: A tax compliant invoice is sent with every order.
PLEASE CHECK YOUR MAILING ADDRESS: When you proceed through the checkout, PLEASE confirm that your CORRECT/CURRENT POSTAL ADDRESS is shown on your order confirmation. I cannot redirect or readdress parcels if you do not notify me before lodgement.
RETURNED PARCELS DUE TO WRONG ADDRESS: If your parcel gets sent and/or gets returned due to the provided address being incorrect, another full postage payment will be required as Australia Post will not resend it for free.
Can I pickup my order instead?
If you’re in Perth, yes….
Select LOCAL PICKUP during the checkout process, instead of paying postage. Once you put your address details in, the checkout will offer you the LOCAL PICKUP option.
My workshop is located in Ballajura, 12km north of the Perth CBD (near Malaga )
Before choosing LOCAL PICKUP – please do consider how far you will need to travel to collect your order – postage may be more cost effective than a road trip. If you have paid for your order, I can leave the goods in a secure place at my house if preferred.
However, if you need to pay and collect, I am available 5pm-7pm weeknights, or on the weekend by arrangement only.
